Noctisardor Bypass Birdsong

The dark male from before approached, carrying with him exactly what Mawk had planned to get. "Ah, thank you. For the advice, as well, but I planned to keep them in sight. There's a stream very close." It was small and fairly well hidden, but perhaps Cry had gotten this water from there. Even so, the man was grateful. The wolfdog gave a flick of his curled dog-like tail, giving one last nod to the shadowed wolf before turning back toward the den. "Cebra, I'm going to bring in water, but I won't be in there for long, okay?" He picked up the bark and headed inside, wasting no time. He knew his mate did not want him in there with her as she birthed so he would make sure to be as quick as possible. 

Upon entering, the scents of the birth filled his nostrils and gave him the most odd feeling. He was proud of his wife, for sure. Birth could not be an easy thing. He placed the water fairly close to her head, careful not to go too close, and resisted the urge to cuddle up next to the beautiful woman. He loved her so much - it worried him to see her in so much pain. Mawk left quickly, shooting a loving glance back at her. As he exited, he inhaled the cool sweet air, grateful for the little heat outside. Inside the den it was very warm.

Leila and Cebra began talking in spanish, then. He did not know much of the language, but he could recognise it, at least. Guess that was a perk of having a completely fluent spanish-speaker as a leader. Gwen had spoken a lot of Spanish while Cuicatl had been around, so he had begun to recognise when someone was speaking it. But even with that knowledge, he could not understand the words the pair were speaking to each other. In the meantime, he was trying not to pace outside the den. Just knowing how stressed Cebra might be made him stressed too. He was worried about her and the pups.
