"aw, come on," he said with a half smile, since he wasn't truly hurt, "i'm not that lame." he was also friends with hydra and lyra, and kind of korei-- and for a while he'd done really well at making friends with strangers outside the borders. he always liked that kavos guy... just, not lately. he hadn't had the energy for that... or for a game, and alya suddenly seemed so intent on doing something fun. damn, what happened to a nice walk?
