terance gazed away like he was going to somehow see her brother in the distance, ears pricked. when he turned back to her, she was looking him down-- focused on something he himself wasn't all too fond of. by now, he'd accepted them, though he still disliked how crudely they interrupted his dark shoulders. hearing the bitchiness, but not one to make a comment on it, terance tried a smile. "got into a fight with a bear," he responded with a roll of his shoulders... then paused. that could easily have been interpreted as the douchebag answer to her comment. "seriously, a bear invaded our territory-- got knocked around pretty badly," he added on, trying to show her he was being sincere.
