to his absolute disbelief and dismay, terance noticed the favor in attention. lyra's sweet, bell-chime voice was not directed at him-- rather, it was directed at dirge, and though he had apparently completely come to terms with lyra not returning his feelings for him... he was hurt-- though perhaps jealous was a better word for it. too bad for lyra(though perhaps it was more too bad for terance), he would likely never acquire that kind of language skill-- he aired more on the side of casual at all times. pity.

he stood still for a few moments as lyra accompanied dirge down the mountain, only coming (as if pulled along by a string) when lyra made a soft motion for his company. truthfully, terance thought that mischief right now was a horrible idea, what with all that had been going on? but lyra seemed so keen on it, and dirge seemed so in charge that terance just couldn't find it in himself to say no. "sounds great," he said in a bit of a deeper voice than he normally had, a soft smirk curling the edges of his lips. "what are you thinking?" he asked, aiming his question more at lyra than at dirge.
