oh no. oh no oh no oh no oh no oh no. for a moment, terance didn't think he could do this anymore. hydra just talked and talked and everything she said went in one ear and out the other. she was... consoling him. for the first time ever, maybe. hydra was always his friend, always there for him-- but this was the first time terance had heard her voice it in this kind of way. god, it hurt him even worse.

she kept talking and talking until suddenly she stopped, and through the ringing in his ears terance had to try to remember what she'd just said. oh. 

"i... i don't... really understand," he said slowly, weakly, "i don't know why liffey feels like that, i've never felt like that before... it doesn't make... sense to me, it's stupid... but... hydra." his voice broke with almost every word-- it was utterly pathetic. but when he said her name, it sounded like he was pleading. he needed her full attention-- not that he didn't already have it-- but oh god this was so hard.

"hydra i'm... i'm going with."
