Moonspear count your fears if you let me

for a moment it was as if hydra was controlling the weather, and terance went cold suddenly. her voice sent chills down his spine, froze the lump in his throat that he was trying to speak through. he was silent, searching her gaze. surely that wasn't all she had to say-- when he found his voice, he said exactly that. "is... that all you have to say?" he asked, ears still down. and, before she could say something like 'what do you want me to say, terance', he added, "you're one of my best friends, hydra, this can't be the end of us, it can't be. i just... i need to do this for myself." 

surely she understood, and if she didn't he'd explain it. the whole lyra thing, the whole clouded mind and just how much he needed a fresh start. he wanted to include hydra in it-- this was not the end of them, he refused to leave it here.
