The Sunspire black seas

Suddenly, Rannoch's world was washed in crimson; the racket of Redshank's warning caused the young Alpha to abandon his meal and rush towards the cause of the commotion. 

Rannoch spotted the furious tangle from a distance, and the violent shifting of bodies urged him forward. Although he had no idea how to stop the brawl, and even though his life had been threatened, Rannoch was going to do his best to mitigate the situation. Everything within Rannoch's body was tense as he stalked towards the group; his posture was tall, and the hair along his hackles spiked. And even though everything within in him urged him to join the fray, he resisted. 

"What the FUCK is going on?" the Alpha barked, and his stony gaze sought Titmouse and Redshank in particular. "Redshank, stand down and tell me what on earth you think you're doing."
