Bat didn't care know or care what the Guidebook had to say. It was day #8 and her eyes were open. She couldn't see much of anything yet but the brand new sensation definitely intrigued the wee bab. She kept batting at her own face, trying to make sense of it (puns 100% intended).
It wasn't long before she managed to poke herself in the eye with one of her tiny toes, which made the darn thing water like crazy. Bat cooed adorably and promptly fell over backward onto @Kiwi, @Silkie, @Tux and/or @Thuringwethil's paw (dealer's choice).
Somewhere nearby, Wildfire burst into tears too.
