Otter Creek Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star

His comment annoyed her a little. He sure was full of himself. She took in his appearence for a minute. He was much larger than she was and could have easily been a problem for her. His scent was interesting and seemed to be from somwhere far away. His coat was the most beautiful white, and his eyes were the most interesting shade of green. Although he seemed somewhat abrasive, she got the feeling that he couldn't be all that bad. He didn't even know her and had woken her from her moment of idiocy. She chose not to reply to his snide remark, feeling like it did not require an answer.

She watched him wade into the water and after a minute, she walked to the water's edge and said, "Wait a second!" She put her two front paws in the water, really not wanting to go in any further. She would, though if it would get his attention. She may small, but she didn't like being dismissed like some pup. "Can I at least have a chance to thank you?"  She asked, not able to keep the irritation from her voice.
