Like her brothers, Eleuthera too had discovered her newest super power: sight. It was a wonderful thing, to know what colors were! There was vibrancy where there was once only light and dark — and even that had only been a muted, muffled understanding of what true sight could be. She was entirely enamored with the sight of her mother and of @Seabreeze, who oft inhabited the den with them; in fact, she had come to realize that both wolves looked quite similar and, given her newfound abilities, was having a distinct challenge telling them apart. There were times that the little shewolf approached the wrong greyscale mother and tried to nurse, but couldn’t successfully. Oh, that frustrated her! It would all soon change when other mama gave birth to her own litter, but there was no way for the gray little girl know that. She poked unknowingly around her environment, her locomotion still more of a wriggling crawl than resembling walking, as she worked to connect the sight of things to the feel of them and further understand her world.
Mama had momentarily left them to see to a disturbance just outside the mouth of their densite, depositing Oaxaca on the ground next to her. The moments that the three children were alone were few — not with two mamas to look after them — so Eleuthera saw this saw her chance. The girl thrust her nose into the ribby side of her younger brother, enjoying how he smelled and the way his downy fluff felt upon her sensitive nose. Then she moved to gum the side of his head with her snapdragon jaws. Mama had never left her get away with this, before! Excitedly she looked about, seeking the sandy-hued form that signified her brother @Séamus. She wondered what he tasted like, too!
