Expression now more strained, Wildfire attempted to shift back to a lighter attitude by rewinding Tegan's last few words in her mind and then saying, "I'm very excited for her, for all of you guys. And I'm so happy you're safe. It definitely wasn't worth the risk of another war." Her breath caught in her throat before she thought to ask, "Would you like some news to take back to her?"
