Resilience was something Speedy had definitely needed when she set out on her own away from the comfort of her childhood pack.

She grinned thoughtfully at his question about her motherhood plans and answered, "I think so. Pups need candor from their parents. You can't shelter them; that would be doing them a disservice. I feel like that can be done while still letting them know you love them and will be there for them no matter what." She was reminded of her parents with this statement. They always encouraged her to be bold and were always there to help her through her mistakes. She could only hope to be as good of parents as they were.
