The woman stalked through the dark woods, only illuminated by the occasional moonbeam that danced upon the leafs. In the distance a raven called out, but it wasn't calling her. Something else did, and she had yet to discover what purpose this night brought. Perhaps there lurked danger in the shadows, but she doubted that she would not yet be aware of it, if that was the case. She sighed softly. She had everything her heart desired and yet she still sought purpose in the dead of night, as if following some prophecy that she had written herself.
In a particularly quiet part of the woods did she pause, both a torn ear and an intact one swiveling about on her star-kissed head. Maybe the purpose would find her instead.
