Guilt filled his expression. I know. I was being stupid, was all he could say. He felt bad for keeping it from her. One more thing to add to the list of reasons he wasn't worthy of being with her. She would never lie to him or ask to sleep with someone else. Even now, she was still here at his side despite the obvious flaws in his character. 

He shrugged a little at her next question, I'm not sure, but I'm open to suggestions. You're the expert with things like this, he answered softly, swallowing hard against the remnants of nausea. What do you think would help? he asked next. Anything that might ease the pain or lessen frequency even more would be welcome.
