He said nothing--not even to answer her question. He just huffed and turned away. Speedy watched him quietly for a moment, genuine concern on her face. It was rare that she had so much trouble figuring someone out, but he sure was making it difficult for her. She wasn't quite sure why he didn't want her help or why he felt the need to be so obstinate, but she wouldn't be deterred.
