Shadewood Sugar, spice, and everything.. wait

Somewhere along the way Cupcake is sure something will look familiar. Man, he thinks to himself while biting the bottom of his lip, am I hella lost. I wonder what Hambone is doing. He stops to nose at a fallen bough and can't help but feel spooked by the trees. It is like they are leaning in, peering at him. It doesn't help the wind is whipping through them, and it kind of sounds like the neighbors blasting screamo music at four in the morning again.

These trees don't look like the suburbanite, meticulously groomed trees he is accustomed to, but he's optimistic. Things had a way of turning out in his favor always, and he's sure that his newest adventure will have plenty of exciting things in store for him.

He shakes off the feeling that the trees are watching him, and makes his way past a line of snowed in elms. Their weighed down boughs look much less intimidating than the clustered trees behind him. He slips under a low hanging bough with a sigh that has been waiting a long time to be released. It's not quite home, but it's better than open land and Cupcake is glad for the shelter.
