The Sovereign—her pack and status therein felt more formal and solid every passing day—nodded throughout, though she waited for the other woman to finish before speaking.

"Yeah, of course. That sounds fine." Her chestnut eyes sought Maia's face again. "I don't intend to handcuff my pack mates to the copse. Just pitch in while you're here and let us know if and when you're wandering away for good." Her black tail waved. "I'm assuming Wraen told you about the pack otherwise, so I won't bore you with it.
