it is ford that appears, greeting him with a smile that sets his heart off-beat and brings heat to his ears. he dips his head a little shyly, his own lips curving up in automatic response. to the man's question, he nods, eyes bright and tail swishing as he briefly recalls his recent encounters. admittedly, he'd been a little worried at first; his cliffside encounter with velen had not been the best of beginnings. yet his fortune seems to have turned, and he finds himself becoming more comfortable here with each passing day. he hadn't realized how much he'd wanted a home until now. the thought is accompanied by a rush of gratitude, and his gaze warms as it lingers on his leader; it is all owed to him, of course.
