Sunbeam Lair I can't wait

He can't quite stifle the yelp that slips from him as the stranger's jaws snap around his foreleg too quickly to react. The yelp ends abruptly in a slightly desperate growl as he struggles to pull his leg from the stranger's grasp, snapping uselessly at him as he rises. What — He manages to pull free before he can get his response out, stumbling back for a moment before he lunges clumsily for the other wolf. He's not thinking clearly, too blinded by shock and pain and his own endless supply of angst; later, he'll realize he should have fled — but right now he wants blood.
