The forest she leads them to isn't particularly impressive, really — and it seems to take forever to get there, slowed as she is by her injuries. She tries not to think about them too much, though, and it seems to work well enough. But when the wind shifts and she catches a hint of the metallic tang to her own scent, she can't help but grimace slightly, imagining how she must look and smell to other wolves. Gross, for sure.
She's about to turn to @Derg and suggest that they head back, already feeling tired even though they've just arrived, but something catches her eye. It seems to blend with the snow partially-covering it at first, but as she parts from her companion's side to inspect the object more closely, the shape of it becomes more apparent. It's a skull. A wolf skull. She leans forward and plucks it from the snow without hesitation, spinning around with her discovery held high.

Look what I found! She says, voice muffled but clearly proud.
