Blackfeather Woods Stars fell from the sky

veery quick lil cameo~ just gonna say she came and went just after istoira arrived.

it was any other day, soft steps allowing her pale form to drift rather aimlessly amongst the familiar trees that helped stand guard over her home. however it would change with drastic speed when a low breeze would rustle the branches as they whispered excitedly to each other with what came with it- the oh so familiar metallic tang of blood. panic would flicker in her chest as her movements grew more purposeful until a brisk but thankfully short trot brought her to the now increasingly familiar form of moonshadow. however hasty steps would suddenly draw to a rather abrupt halt upon what the scene revealed itself to be.

the girl remains frozen for a few moments like a deer caught in the headlights, had the other's leg been hanging from their body she wouldn't have reacted in such a manner but this...memories pushed tauntingly against the boundaries of her mind- forcing her ears to pin back against her head in a very rare sign of distress. pups would never be her forte anyway but such a reaction was brought on mainly due to memories she could not afford to allow to resurface but now attacked her with a new courage due to the fresh ammunition they carried behind them. she was still out of sight and shifted uneasily from paw to paw, she couldn't just leave her alone could she? however such thoughts could be put to rest when she recognised moonshadow's ally- istoira wasn't it? arrive to the scene and upon being welcomed by the older packmate, be quick to assist her. 

the soldier would exhale slowly and only now step from the shadows she'd grown so close to that she'd mastered the art of using them to choose when she wished to be visible and approach the two although coming to a stop a good few paces away. a soft chuff was all that slipped from her jaws as her head dipped slightly- expressing to the new mother that she would be nearby making sure no trouble would come to them. after all that's what she did best, she could be their protector but that was it. her cool gaze slipped across the small forms only once, noting the lifeless form and feeling a dull ache hit her so hard in the pits of her stomach that for a fleeting moment she thought she was going to get sick. nevertheless such feelings remained as hidden as ever behind a thorny facade as she would proceed to slip away once more after throwing istoira an approving look too, glad to see her fitting in to their home so well.

she would remain near the new little family- alert for anything that could be a potential threat whilst trying to grapple with the crack that had formed within, no way could that go unrepaired.
