He had spotted a strange form on their plateau. His eyes were naturally narrowed these days so one was left more to guess if it was from tiredness or grumpiness. Today it seemed it would be both. He could not deny that he had been hoping to have a quiet day amongst their small group. Perhaps rope @Vegas into a hunt or drag @Valentine out for a quick scouting trip. Or even (he was reluctant to admit how nice it sounded) a group nap if his tiredness kept growing.

Seemed the world had other plans for him.
