For every mile south she goes, there also came a weird guilt. It's further from the Cliffs, the grotto, and anywhere she could have expected Dacio to look for her whenever he was due to return--which she had no idea when. But it wasn't enough to completely stop her, apparently. Day by day she ranged onward, further down the coastline in the opposite direction of her birthplace.
These stretches of coast were treating her well and although windswept and wild, the young Drakru had known well how to thrive near the waves. Solitude, and lack of a true cause, could be her only complaints--but she trusted those would both end one day soon before winter forced it to. But, for now, the yearling had good morale for flying solo, and was enjoying the fringes of the bay when her nose skimmed over fresh trail worth a follow. She was curious enough to go see more, so adjusted her steps--quicker, quieter; she smelled like nothing in particular, just the wilds' seaside.. no hint of her former life.
After falling into step with his trail, she tracked the young Rusalkan almost to him. She slowed up considerably once she caught glimpse of him--would he realize her? She soon started on underneath the ash trees too.. but slowly, steadily steered closer and closer to the stranger. When she got close enough to warrant it, Opalia bit her tongue when the first thing on it was her custom Dragedan greeting. Hopefully only she would realize the pause it gave her.

Hail, stranger..she chuffed, trying not to sound too much like herself even, although was it even all that different? Not really. In particular, she still was sure to carry herself neatly. Her nose confirmed he was Rusalka, and not reacting to that was painful enough.
Heading somewhere?seemed a good vague question to begin upon from a nobody like her.
