Silvertip Mountain Scream to the gods that you have lost

This dialog bought back feelings; feelings she struggled so much to forget, to lock them down inside, and bury the key, so she could no longer deal with them. But like a volcano, they erupted back into her already-scared mind, like claws encrusting on her brain. She shifted her weight nervously, feeling watched. Heavy breathing, she tried to calm herself down, while listening to the female in front of her.
 
“Maybe someone escaped,” A wishper. Surely someone escaped; right? There was no possible way she was the only survivor. But who knows, perhaps she spoke truthfully, so who was she to judge? “I am sorry for your loss.” And she meant it, this apology. Agana knew how it felt to be alone; so she would not let this maiden freeze out here.
 
“You are not safe here from the Earth’s shift either.” Golden gaze lifted to the Silvertip, “A boulder might detach from the mountain, and —” She just realized what she was saying, and closed her mouth immediately and turned her attention to the female. “Well, it doesn’t matter.” Agana slowly made two steps closer to her, tail and ears twitching. “You are not alone anymore.” The sand female reassured the other, sitting down on the cold rock. The feeling of being watched was still there, lingering.
