Lake Rodney Before the lake freezes over

So. They had eaten, the pack was fed and now Vanity could rest for a day. She decided to go for a walk and see if there were any cool things to find at the lake, like some feathers. Feathers were nice to collect.
She dipped her nose into the freezing water, weeting it so she could then search easier for things. It did smell a bit fishy here, and there seemed to be a lot of fine bones on the shores. Interesting. Something had massacred the population here. Probably otters.

Ahead, she caught sight of someone fishing. Watching the water intently for something to come close by. "I don't think you'd have much luck fishing in this lake." She called with a smile. You needed deeper water to fish because they wouldn't swim into the very shallows, and it didn't seem like the time of year to wade deeper.

Though, as the woman got closer, she could smell a pack. She hesitated slightly, casting her gaze around. Where was there another pack? There should only be the Nightwalkers and Moonspear. She held up her soft smile and kept her tail waving, hoping that she didn't seem concerned.
