“An interesting proposal.” Renard cocked their head. “The one who proposed Sagtannet lost to me. Not ashamed to say you would probably have won here, if trees were involved.” They examined Donovan for a moment longer. The man certainly had a presence. A goal. The latter, at least, was something they were lacking.

Which was…why they’d considered Praimfaya’s proposal in the first place. And they probably knew this one better than her. Whether also being a wolfdog meant that much, Renard had no idea, but they’d certainly get a reputation.
