Thunder roared high above the mountain in the night. While others cowered (except Mira, probably; Mira never cowered) Caelum sat outside in the rain and he watched the thunder clap and heard it roar its song. Caelum had always loved the thunder, from the first moment he'd heard and seen it, but ever since Kukutux' story, he had developed rather a crush on mother thunder.

But he was so small and insignificant compared to her. How could he ever make her notice him? While Caelum listened to her soft rumbling, he lifted his nose and howled a song of his own to join in with hers. Maybe that would impress her. Maybe that would make her see him.
