Hideaway Strath Third child, restless child

His tail wagged where it rested in his hip—just like dad. And he waited for his request to be fulfilled. He knew his mother and father would never deny him food. He watched his dad with adoration on his little face, waiting patiently while Kynareth brought up his last meal on the ground before him. Tulok stood, the smell of food making him hop excitedly in place. When dad settled back down, Tulok took his place between dad's large forelegs and started eating.

His gaze periodically scanned around him as if someone might come at any moment and take his food. Only his brother came, though, and the second born growled lowly at him, freezing as Alduin came and took a few quick bites. But then his brother walked away to vomit himself and seemed perfectly happy to eat what he had brought back up. Tulok positioned himself so that his older brother could not sneak back in and take more food. It was his food and he wouldn't share. 

He smelled food coming from where mom and Atka were. He had missed everything that had gone on, too busy eating to pay attention to anything else. But now that mom had given them food as well, maybe Alduin would go over there and leave Tulok to eat in peace.
