The warrior ghost had lurked off from the war as Ursus did not seem to have any interest in her. They had not chased her, nor had they even spoken a word to her. She felt it was useless to chase Nyra like they did, instead she began to wander, aimlessly. Where did one go when the war had come and gone so abruptly and all she knew was war? She felt like nothing, so empty, so hollow and gone, like everything she knew had ended. The saints were no more, nor did she have any interest in it.
She was slowly coming to the realization that no matter what she felt, no matter where she went, Nyra would haunt her memory. She had felt something for Nyra that no one could have foreseen, no one could have warned her about it, but now it was all gone, a distant memory of something that used to be. It was gone. Gone like any rational mind of hers. She was nothing but a ghostly being, wandering the earth, haunting those in it.
War had no interest in staying behind, no interest in coming back either, but she did return. She saw a black man stand there, he stood in the shadows of the mountains, she almost wanted to bare her teeth at him, warn him to leave before she would get upset, but she realized she felt nothing. She wasn't angry, she wasn't upset, she was just; empty. Deprived of emotion her heartbreak and the disaster that had unfolded here was all that was felt inside. She watched him as she came closer, on another day she might have wondered what he was doing here, but now she did not care.
She sniffed the ground for blood, she sniffed out Nyra's blood and looked in the direction she had run off, that day. She felt a deep rumble beneath, she felt an urge to run after her, but what would she do once she had caught her? That day she had been so ready to kill her, now she was almost glad she hadn't. She had never been so conflicted, up until this day everything had been so black and white in her world. Now it was torn and destroyed.
She looked at the male again, with nothing but questions written on her face. What did he want from her? Who was he? She almost spoke, but chose not to. She knew the old enemy lurked nearby, she could not be safe. She was a previous saint after all, someone who had made enemies. Was he one of them?
