Reki watched the man. He didn't see a family resemblance in his face because he didn't know that was a possibility, but he saw kind eyes and heard a knowledgeable voice speak to him of the flower, and he listened obediently. The voice wasn't a bad one. When the explanation finished, Reki found the man looking at him fondly, as if they now shared a secret.
