Swiftcurrent Creek Still I kind of like this feeling of being left behind

When warned that there might be previous inhabitants come back to reclaim the territory, Moss set her focus to patrolling the borders and reinforcing the markings left behind by others. She learned their scents, deducing that there were indeed about 6 other wolves in the pack. A small, but resilient band she felt would likely grow. From what she could tell, there was one other female in the pack who could possibly attract unwanted attention for at least the next week while she was in season, but how Akavir and Arric wanted to deal with that was up to them. 

The scent of a red fox was the only thing that gave her any pause at all. Aside from prey animals coming and going, she didn't detect the scent of any unwanted trespassers just yet, and the fox was of very little concern. Aside from being thieves and occasionally carrying disease, they weren't an active threat nor were they worth the expense of energy it took to hunt and chase them down. She marked the tracks the fox left behind as a warning, and continued along the borders.
