It would kick him down right back into being Dagur. A boy fit to bite off more than he could chew, a boy overwhelmed by the world outside of The Big Man's gaze and bloody guiding hands.

A boy wayward and seemingly unwanted by the universe for very long.

He had not the experience nor skill to navigate back to the group after the scattering had been done. He had not anticipated the blinding way the snow had started to whip, or how the winds here seemed to chill him right down to his very core.
