Melody wasn't sure what to make of the green-eyed man whose presence spoke of authority in every aspect. She was silent as he spoke to her, only nodding once to show her acknowledgement. Some of these names were familiar to her, but only just.

She followed along at the flick of his tail, thinking now on the Pharaoh. Even in her absence, Melody could hardly think of anyone or anything else. The beginnings of an obsession, cut short, but the remnants of the roots of it lingered. She watched the priest whose name she did not know as she followed him, and wondered what he might tell her of the departed leader.
