truly, abel is painfully young to be like this, but his writer is pretentious and doesn't have any proper adults available to take these urges out on he has been molded by circumstance. but these thoughts are easily left behind; he's still too young to understand what he's feeling or why he's feeling that way.

judah had not been as distant as the other ones had been. an image of his black and white stone conjures in his mind before it is whisked away by a flurry of questions. the meaning of judah's words comes slowly. before he has a moment to consider them he is supplied with an answer, and easygoing abel is so excited just to be considered that he would have agreed to anything if it meant that the older boy would play with him.
