S’ari watched her children grow and was content. She watched Candle’s children grow, as well, watched Zoug be a father to them, and smiled. The desert was good and had brought them life and joy. And now it was summer, a time of full life and bright heat. A time to laze in the waters of the ravine to avoid the brutal sun. A time to be thankful.
