Nova Peak amber, what will become

rowdy’s taste of victory was short lived. as he sat on his new chair (read:brother) he smugly surveyed his kingdom the way a fat king would incline deep into an ochre-red throne. but that moment was fleeting, as any king’s rein was — cut short by the devastating blow of bunny kicks. 

ooof! he grunted, barreled in his belly by pummeling paws. he tried in vain to nip at any paw too close to range, but riot moved too fast and rowdy was forced to slouch off. 

he did what came to him naturally then and folded his limbs under him, loafing on the ground in the defensive posture of a snapping turtle waiting for its gleaming moment.
