when sun eater left suliya, it was to collect his wife from amid shadowynn. the war chief knew his ways; she had enjoyed many days of her own with ridgeback.

so he did not depart with much fanfare at all, grabbing two caribou hides to sling around hardbit shoulders. but even in silence he burned, evidenced by the frequency of how long he now allowed his gaze to rest upon @Morwenna.

a third marriage, and this time to an outsider. she brought a dowry of thrumming bloodshed if the creek warriors saw fit to heed his challenge, his threat. and he enjoyed this, finding his desire hastened at the notion.

thick mist veiled the moon, creating a softer glow which limned morwenna in saintlike aura. as the emerald trees closed around them, and the rush of winterwhite water flowed beyond the foliage, he watched her.
