This was a familiar fire in her veins —

but no less frightening than it'd been the first time, and abruptly the world felt emptier than it ever had. Flight; the abandonment of her island, the silent beckoning of her soul's other half. @Cobalt would not be far behind her, she knew. But if he wanted her, he would have to catch her.

Night fell as she slipped through the bleeding forest, aware of the scents of other wolves. Blue paid them no mind. It wasn't enough of a pack to trouble her yet, though perhaps one day it would be. But today she spread her scent boldly through the woodland, wondering if a suitor would dare approach her.
