he did not even mention the sharadoii; ironically were he and this unknown woman possessed of a similarity in that. sun eater had no notion that they deserved to be mentioned, valley-dwellers, weak men and vain women. 

surely something had driven out this blood-drinker. the lanzadoii man's stare narrowed. "do you cross, muradoii? do you stay? if you walk among, then go. if you mean to stay, i say you first give hunting to the saatsine." and then only a night of rest. he had no reason to be violent and more to honor his assumptions of her monster's status. and if she gave fight, his warriors would fall upon her and the younger wolf who followed. his belief in such power was the only reason he considered a tense truce.
