Bearclaw Valley if he fell in love

towhee is strangely nervous, she realizes, though it was for naught as he agrees to meet her family ... or what was left of them that lingered in the valley. at the very least, her mother was a constant in her life ... even if she couldn't blame sable for going his own way. she'd done it herself, but would argue she'd always found her way back. maybe not necessarily home — though home was less of a place and more of those that made it a home.

for her, now, it was tvar and their unborn children.

she watches him for a moment, curious about the thoughts that take hold in his mind when his paws are still, a small noise that resembles ah, leaves her lips unintentionally, assuming that as he brought up at the question of whether they would like him or not that, that was where his mind had went.

-i can't speak for them, but i can't imagine they would find anything they didn't like. do not worry, my mother might've been called an old hag many a times,- it was, in fact, only one time — would of the times that towhee jr was mistaken for towhee the elder which was surprising it wasn't a more common occurrence — and from one of her mother's oldest friends but even so! it was fun to say it in a jesting manner all the same. -she's not nearly so bad.-
