Dahozhoni Meadow does my breath smell?

He had gone and gotten attached. The realization washed over him like Odessia’s hideous morning breath. Cambria didn’t normally mind it—he liked her smells, and not just the one full of pheromones—but his stomach abruptly rolled. How had he let this happen? And was he past the point of no return?

Making an awful horking noise, the Dragonling jumped to his feet, toppling Odessia right off him. He took a couple steps, saliva pooling in his mouth as he fought against the nausea. Somehow, he managed to swallow the bile rising in his throat and breathe through the worst of the queasiness without upchucking.

But when his watery eyes flicked to Odessia and he tried to think of which would be worse—staying with her or leaving her right here, right now—Cambria felt a wave of something else come over him. His chest tightened and he felt short of breath. His skin felt too tight too. In fact, his whole body suddenly seized up, every muscle locking.
