Even from here she saw the little openings in the gorge walls that served as windows and balconies for the dens in the cave system. From an outsider, they might look impossible to reach at such a great height, high above the gorge floor, but to those who lived here, they knew about the great secrets the thick stone concealed. Long tunnels and caves filled the walls and made a perfect place to make dens and store food and herbs. It was a hidden paradise within a hidden paradise.
