It was completely strange and out of the ordinary that she would be somewhat attached to those seafoam eyes of his, but they were just too unique to forget. It was something similar to how she felt when looking into her mothers eyes. Those sweet baby blues that simply stared lovingly into her silvers. The silver that matched neither of her parents, nor any of her siblings. She was an oddball, that much was true. When looking into this stranger's she felt a pull, one that she necessarily hadn't felt with others before and it almost made her wonder why?
Kat nodded, yes. She knew that she would find Rainier, she would have to. He had been the only one keeping her so far from home and without the prospect of finding him, she'd likely feel hopeless and even more lost than she already was.
