She stood atop a brazen rock, surveying the great plains she had ventured to. The colours of summer were slowly fading and replaced by the aging brown shade of decay. However, the land was still luminous, it's vast plains and luscious valleys were admirable compared to her usual sight of barren trees and shadow forests. But she still liked Blackfeather better. The dark vibe she got from her somber haven was a force to be reckoned with, in her opinion. She was simply here to find new game, deer and rabbit were becoming distasteful after days for their taste in her mouth, not that she was picky. A little change would be good.

Her nose reached the soft breeze, carrying the scent of packs nearby. She would make sure to steer well away from those types of wolves, and their pitiful packs. Even though she new that the other packs could be a match for hers, she would never admit it. Even their land said something about them. Dandelions and Liatris were not the most intimidating decorations. Nothing light grew in Blackfeather, and that was good.
Despite her efforts, she couldn't find much to satisfy herself, instead deciding to simply fill herself with a deer carcass. The sunken animal was what she wanted to avoid coming here, but it would have to do for now. She would return another day to find something better but as for right now, her stomach ached with hunger. Grabbing it by it's ankle, she dragged the deer to behind the trees. She would appreciate to eat in silence and without the possibility of it's owner retrieving it.
Her eyes gleamed in hunger as she was about to take a bite, before her nose twitched. It was the scent of fresh kill, nearby. The carcass was soon forgotten and the thought of fresh meat filled her mind. Picking up her tired feet, she latched into the scent, mouth watering in anticipation. It didn't occur to her that another might take the carcass for themselves, and for now, it didn't matter. She was sorely wrong.

to make certain they fear you more than they do the enemy
