Blackfeather Woods This Cold, Dark Earth

It's about damn time Damien meets his badass siblings

It was colder every second indeed. Winter was just around the corner, and there was a lot to do before it hit. Damien felt a little uneasy about the numbers of Blackfeather Woods, even when they had taken a few new members recently. They new wolves needed training, and Damien needed to know his family was safe with them around.

Damien was a wolf of word -or at least most of the times. But there was one promise he could not break. Meldresi had made Damien promise that he would protect the pack, and more importantly, train to become what she'd always wanted him to be. He'd done a great deal of that already, but he had still to begin his formal training to join the Brotherhood. But there would be time for that later and it wasn't on top of the boy's priorities.

"Burke, you in there?" whispered Damien from the entrance of the brand new den the Alpha had dug unnecessarily, but no one answered. He peeked inside and got a glimpse of the cubs that slept while their father wroked. Then, in silence, Damien laid down across the entrance to at least keep an eye on them while Burke returned.
