Anyone who saw Damien that morning would have probably purposely avoided him. Like he'd got out of the wrong side of the bed, he'd been a grumpy mess for hours... and he didn't even seem to have a reason to be. Perhaps Cicero had something to do with his mood, but Damien had chosen to ignore his existence altogether rather than think about that night anymore. Besides it was cold and foggy, and there was nothing more frustrating than trying to find a lost den without even being able to see. It was obvious he was looking for something, but what was the most unsettling was the way Damien was growling at the floor like a maniac.
