@Sesi :)

Blackfeather had gotten more hectic during the winter, to her great surprise. Damien had gone.. somewhere, Cicero had also ventured off, and Kove, well, his presence was overly known to her. But it wasn't just that. Recent changes had thickened the restrictions for even entering Blackfeather, not that she minded. Though it felt like she needed to up her game. Simply being cold was not enough, she needed to be harsh. It hadn't occurred to her that she was already overly harsh, but she she needed to keep up with the demands of the Dark Brotherhood. Taking a break to clear her mind would help. She traveled swiftly to the pond she had visited once before. Then, she had been a different person, a fresher soul, but a darker one. So much hatred, but now she had a home. Many of the stereotypes of Blackfeather were true, but they were a close knit family, with.. a tendency to dislike the outside world. And nobody could blame them really, everyone else were just disgruntled.

Sighing in ecstasy, she lay down on the banks of the frozen pond. Even out away from the pack, from him, she couldn't help but to think of Kove. Damn him, why did he have to choose her? Pushing away the though, she redirected her attention back to the pond before resting her head on her front paws. It was peaceful, just listening to the wind rush by in a useless haste. Her eyelids dropped, breathing rather shallowly as she rested. Yet, there was always something that disturbed her, for Fate never seemed to like her much.
the only way to keep your people loyal is
to make certain they fear you more than they do the enemy
