Alpine Lake I hadn't slept in a week, I was weak, I was awake

She entered the Hinterlands near the north, though as she peered into its depths from the elevation of the lake, she did not think venturing in to it would be a good idea. She felt as if she would get lost within. For now she settled with skirting its northern borders, starting with the lake which she stood by.

She lapped its cool waters, the liquid briefly relieving her from the pervasive heat of her body. Her tail swished behind her, inviting any male who had followed her scent trail to the lake.
