Tanja’s scent entered the gathering, followed by Heda whose low growl communicated her displeasure at the female trespasser’s words.

The Kru near her, whose name she did not know, spoke again this time acting as ambassador. Letting them know (as if they did not already) that they were far from home. So she knew them. Or, rather, of them. Regardless, this made no difference to Eske who wanted them gone. A low snort left her black, leathery nostrils as she watched them, skeptical of the woman’s words, though her gaze leveled between the two, not wanting to let either out of her sight for too long.
