There was a distinct lack of fun to be had around the territory - a problem that had only grown in magnitude since Grayday had asked her to keep an eye on Heartha. Just knowing that the woman could possibly be crazy lessened Sunspot's enjoyment of life, not to mention what it did to her peace of mind.

Still, she felt for the woman. It couldn't be easy, worrying about your sanity like that. Sunspot did her best to be attentive and companionable to her new sidekick. Unfortunately, she still didn't know Heartha all that well, and had no idea what the other woman considered a viable passtime. Maybe I can introduce her to Grimalkin, she mused, thinking they might suit each other, since they had so much in common. Age and... well. Age.

But she wasn't supposed to take Heartha on any trips - at least, she hadn't been told to - so Sunspot figured she'd be seeing a lot of the Cuesta until this whole thing got itself resolved. She was already getting tired of it. There was so much grass and hills and absolutely nothing else. Not at all stimulating.

Sunspot turned to her companion. "What do you wanna do?" she asked. They'd just been sitting near the shady copse of trees - the only copse - all morning long. No one else was around, and Sunspot was getting ancy.
